Ubuntu Adding TTF fonts locally

1. Create ~/.fonts directory
2. Copy .TTF files in ~/.fonts/ or subdirectory like ~/.fonts/TTF/
3. Run fc-cache -f -v and check whether your local fonts directory is scanned
4. Run gnome-terminal to select the newly installed font

No need to create fonts.dir nor fonts.scale
